THIS KIT HAS BEEN REMASTERED WITH A ONE PIECE BODY AND EXCEPTIONAL DETAIL

HISTORY: -
The F wagons were built by Toowoomba foundry and Burns Twigg & Co. in the 1890's. The wagons were used for the carriage of general freight and have also been known to carry sugar cane in the season. The wagon is 17 foot 5 inches over buffers and had a tare weight of 4 tons and was not available for the carriage of sugar cane. The length of trains operated by Queensland Railways to the mid 1980's was measured in units. The F wagon was equal to 1 unit in length, as it was the shortest wagon available.
